EnergyLink Acquires UECompression

EnergyLink International (EnergyLink) has acquired UECompression Inc., an

EnergyLink International (EnergyLink) has acquired UECompression Inc., an engineered-to-order compression equipment packager and distributor. According to EnergyLink, the acquisition will accelerate its strategic direction of diversification into more decarbonization technologies while continuing to develop products that assist in delivering energy solutions and energy transition options that lower emissions.

"This acquisition is complimentary to the long-term growth and future plans of both EnergyLink and UECompression," said Harold Wong, president and CEO of EnergyLink. "I have been very impressed with UECompression's involvement in the compression of so many of the new gases in the energy sector: CO2, H2, and displacement of methane with air, all a part of the decarbonization efforts globally and particularly here in North America. In addition, UECompression's booster compressors that pressurize gas turbine combustor levels for electricity generation are second-to-none globally."

With this acquisition comes the appointment of Keith Kern to president of UECompression. "Our team is extremely excited about this acquisition.
